We are planning to hold a Coast to Coast Tour. exclusively for Nostalgia Sports Cars. The dates are set as 10 - 12th June 2011. Entry for the tour is strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis

The provisional route is from St Bees Head, Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay, North Yorks. approximately 200 miles. The route will traverse the Hardknott and Wrynose passes to Windermere before going through the Yorkshire Dales to Middleham,for an overnight stop. Continuing the following day to The North Yorks Moors and National Park ending in Robin Hoods bay. The route is provisional and may be subject to change after I've done a route proving run.

Preliminary details are,

10th June 2011 assemble at the Seacote Hotel, St Bees Head ,on Friday 10th June. Overnight Accommodation has been booked, double / twin room @ £60.00 per room including Breakfast. If you require an evening meal the restaurant is open from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

11th June 2011 Depart St Bees on part 1 of the run. we will offer places of interest you may wish to visit on the way. Arrive Blue Lion Hotel, Middleham, Accommodation has been booked double room @ £90 - £109 (room dependant). For the evening meal we will book enough places in the restaurant for us all. The cost will be divided between rooms and added to your bill.

12th June Depart Blue Lion and complete the run to Robin Hoods bay. We have presumed that you will wish to stay overnight in Robin Hood's Bay and have secured 6 double rooms at the Victoria Hotel @ £90.00 including breakfast.

The Victoria requires £20:00 per room deposit to secure the booking. The club has already paid this. Please make a cheque for £20.00 payable to the Nostalgia Sports Car Club If you do not intend to stay in Robin Hoods Bay you must inform us without delay so that we can cancel the booking. No evening meal arrangement have been made but you may wish to sample the excellent sea food of the area

You will be responsible for settling your own hotel bill in each of the locations. For the hotels where we have not been require to pay a deposit we have had give a credit card guarantee. The hotels require 72 hours notice of cancellation. It is most important that we abide by the cancellation rules if we are to avoid cancellation charges.

I will send more detailed information including other costs we have incurred and need to pass on to you (things like production of route books, maps, entrance fees to places of interest we plan to visit as a group) in the early part of the new year once the route proving has been done.
